DECATUR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

JULY 16, 2007

The Decatur County Commissioners opened their July 16th meeting with following present: Charles Buell- President, Jerome Buening, John Richards and Bridgett Weber-Auditor.

The June 18th meeting minutes were approved as read.

Mark Mohr-Highway Department updated Commissioners on road projects for 2007. Mr. Mohr has received several compliments on the work done so far.

Mr. Mohr will be contacting Ron May of Aecon to proceed with Bridge #18.

Valley Asphalt provided a bond to the county for work they are performing on the Frontage Road from Overpass Road Connector to County Road 150W; County Road 150W to Moscow Road at County Road 150N; Moscow Road from County Road 150N intersection to US 421.

Mr. Buell asked Mr. Mohr the status on Mr. Dierckman’s road. Mr. Mohr stated the highway department will be doing some work on this road.

Dirt work performed at the fairgrounds looks good and Fair Board is pleased.

David Weber-Downtown Car Show has asked the Commissioners to have the Courthouse unlocked for restroom facilities and Commissioners agreed. Mr. Weber is to contact Sheriff Templeton for this service.

Bryan Robbins-Hott City provided 2nd quarter report of his progress with downtown development.

With nothing else to come before the Commissioners, Mr. Richards moved to recess, Mr. Buening seconded and Mr. Buell concurred.
