DECATUR COUNTY COUNCIL

FEBRUARY 19, 2008

The Decatur County Council opened their February 19th 2008 meeting with the following present; Ernest Gauck, President, Rheadawn Metz, Geneva Hunt, Larry Meyer, Ken Owens, Rose Hellmich and Kenny Hooten.

Mr. Owens moved to approve the minutes of January 8th and Mrs. Hellmich seconded, motion carries.

David Neuman provided the overtime due to him based on findings of Matthew Bailey at the January meeting. Mr. Gauck asked Mr. Meyer and Mrs. Hunt to review the overtime in the policy with Matthew Bailey and report back at the March meeting.

Eric Lowry was present per request of Mr. Gauck to discuss WTH contract for E-911. Mr. Lowry explained to Council members how the data sets are being updated to meet the needs of city and county. Mrs. Metz moved to approve the contract to clean up the address issues, Mr. Owens seconded, motion carried.

Jon Martin explained his responsibilities to council members at the Soil & Water District. He also informed the council members that the district should have $130,000 available after receiving the 2008 budget dollars.

Vernon Fork Water District has had a couple of meetings and each county involved is going back to there county council’s to asking for $3,300.00. Mr. Owens moved to give the district $3,300.00, Mr. Hooten seconded, motion carried.

Mrs. Metz moved to approve additional for the sheriff of $6,000.00, Mr. Hooten seconded, motion carried.

Mrs. Hellmich moved to adjourn and Mr. Hooten seconded, meeting adjourned.
