DECATUR COUNTY COUNCIL

MARCH 20, 2007
 
 
The Decatur County Council opened their March 20th, 2007 with the following present; Rheadawn Metz, Rose Hellmich, Larry Meyer, Geneva Hunt, Ken Owens and Kenneth Hooten.

Mr. Meyer moved to approve minutes of the February meeting and Mrs. Hunt seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
Janet Chadwell - Clerk discussed her requests for changes in her 144.  Mr. Hooten moved to accept the 4% less on Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Meyer seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

William B Meyerrose - E911 discussed a maintenance contract renewal with Verizon.  Mr. Owens moved to approved the contract and Mr. Hooten seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Vicki Kellerman – EDC provided an update to March 8th.  Potential projects were discussed.  Mrs. Kellerman is looking to find land available for industrial use.

Mrs. Hellmich moved to approve the amended 144’s for Soil and Water and Auditor as presented and Mr. Meyer seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Mrs. Hellmich moved to approve transfers and Mr. Meyer seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Mr. Owens moved to approve $10,700.00 for Area Plan part-time clerical and Mr. Meyer seconded the motion.  Motion carried. 

Mr. Hooten moved to approve the additional appropriations as corrected and Mr. Owens seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

With no further business to come before the Council, Mrs. Hellmich moved to adjourn, Mr. Hooten seconded the motion.  Meeting adjourned.
