DECATUR COUNTY COUNCIL
MEETING MINUTES

JUNE 20, 2006


The Decatur County Council held the June 20th meeting with the following present: Ernest Gauck, Rheadawn Metz, Tom Carroll, Geneva Hunt, Al Knecht, Rose Hellmich, Ken Owens and Auditor Bridgett Weber.

Mr. Owens moved to approve the May 16th meeting minutes and Mr. Carroll seconded the motion. Motion carried.

William Meyerrose requested an additional appropriation for E911 Dispatcher to cover matching salaries for 2006 budget.

Daryl Templeton requested an additional appropriation for $4,500.00 to purchase 2 new computers for the radio dispatch area. Mrs. Hunt moved to approve purchase of 2 new computers out of the 911 budget and Mrs. Metz seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Mrs. Hunt moved to allow additional appropriations Cum Bridge $272,000.00; Sandcreek Township $1,247.00; Sheriff $3,000.00; Extension $1,000.00; Park $4,000.00; E911 $52,732.00 with the exception of Animal Control and appropriation transfers and Mrs. Hellmich seconded the motion. Motion carried.

SUPERIOR COURT
TRANSFER FROM: PETIT JURORS 0101-232-1000.33 
TRANSFER TO: LAW BOOKS 0101-232-2000.41 2,000.00

Sheriff Templeton informed the Council members his office would be moving on July 10th and an open house is planned July 22nd.

Mr. Carroll moved to amend form 144 for the Sheriff’s Jailers, Mr. Owens seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The County Council will meet July 18th at 9:00am.

Mrs. Hellmich moved to adjourn, and Mr. Knecht seconded the motion. Motion carried.
