DECATUR COUNTY COUNCIL
BUDGETS 2007

AUGUST 29, 2006


Council members- Ernie Gauck, President, Rheadawn Metz, Tom Carroll, Geneva Hunt, Al Knecht, Rose Hellmich and Ken Owens began reviewing 2007 budget requests submitted by county departments.

A raise of $3,500.00 was determined for the Sheriff’s Deputies and Matron. A raise of $1,000.00 was determined for Dispatchers. A $700.00 raise was determined for Jailers and Cooks.

A 2% raise was determined for Office Holders, Supervisors and other salaried positions.

A .20 cent raise was determined for part-time help.

Council members agreed to gave the raise requested for Commissioner and County Council Salaries.

Mr. Owens moved to give Township Trustees $100.00 raise and Deputy Trustees $50.00, Mr. Knecht seconded the motion. Motion carried 7-0.

Mrs. Hellmich moved to appropriated $400.00 to all townships electric appropriations, Mrs. Metz seconded the motion. Motion carried 7-0.
